Teaching - Special Education – Secondary (M.A.T)

Earning your Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) from the College of Education & Human Development will prepare you to become certified to teach in ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ’s schools.

The M.A.T. is appropriate only for individuals who do NOT hold any teaching certification. This program is designed for those interested in acquiring initial teaching skills of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs with mild/moderate disabilities at the secondary education levels along the special education continuum of placements. ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs who enroll in this program have the opportunity to become certified in both General Education and Special Education Mild/Moderate at the Secondary level.
