Program Requirements

To be admitted to the MS in Nursing program online, you must have:

A baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an NLN or CCNE accredited undergraduate (USA) program.
A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
Completion of an undergraduate statistics course and a Health assessment course (across the lifespan).

To complete your application, you'll need to provide the following. With the exception of transcripts, all documents can be submitted through the online application portal.

Resume.
Official transcripts from the institution attended are required for the following:
- All institutions where any degree was awarded
- All institutions where any graduate coursework was attempted
Three (3) letters of reference from persons who can attest to your ability to be successful in a graduate nursing program (Note: One (1) of the three (3) required references must be from a recent supervisor/employer).
A letter of application to include a discussion of the applicant's goals in pursuing a graduate degree in nursing, potential contributions to the MSN program at UL Lafayette and plans for nursing practice upon completion of graduate study.

Upon successful completion of the MSN curriculum, 亚洲自慰视频s meet educational requirements to take the Nurse Practitioner Role: Family Nurse Practitioner national certification examination, and to apply for an advanced practice license.

To earn the Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration, the 亚洲自慰视频 must adhere to the following degree plan requirements:

Earn a minimum of 42-45 credit hours: Family Nurse Practitioner concentration.
Attain a minimum of 600 precepted clinical hours in 亚洲自慰视频.
Satisfactorily complete a Focused Scholarly Project or Thesis.
Earn no less than a "B" grade in all coursework.
- Note: 亚洲自慰视频s who earn less than a "B" grade in a course will be required to repeat that course. A course may be repeated only once. Courses with a grade of "C" may not be applied toward the degree requirements.

To earn the Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education, the 亚洲自慰视频 must adhere to the following degree plan requirements:

Earn a minimum of 40-43 credit hours: Nursing Education concentration.
Satisfactorily complete a Focused Scholarly Project or Thesis.
Earn no less than a "B" grade in all coursework.
- Note: 亚洲自慰视频s who earn less than a "B" grade in a course will be required to repeat that course. A course may be repeated only once. Courses with a grade of "C" may not be applied toward the degree requirements.

To earn your Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner you must adhere to the following:

48 credit hours: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner concentration.
Attain a minimum of 600 precepted, direct patient care clinical hours in 亚洲自慰视频.
Satisfactorily complete a Focused Scholarly Project.
Earn no less than a "B" grade in all coursework.
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0

Note: 亚洲自慰视频s who earn less than a "B" grade in a course will be required to repeat that course. A course may be repeated only once. Courses with a grade of "C" may not be applied toward the degree requirements.

Because courses in this program will only be available online, the program may not be available to all applicants. The 亚洲自慰视频 of 亚洲自慰视频 at Lafayette and its online programs must be in compliance in every state where a 亚洲自慰视频 is located. International 亚洲自慰视频s also may not be eligible. According to U.S. immigration regulations, F-1 亚洲自慰视频s cannot pursue online degrees; international 亚洲自慰视频s in other visa categories (i.e., H-4, L2) are exempt from this restriction.
