鈥淚 wanted to earn my bachelor鈥檚 degree before taking these next steps, and I鈥檓 glad I chose UL Lafayette鈥檚 Health Promotion and Wellness program. I can take these skills to any work setting I go to.鈥
鈥淚 never felt lost. Even online, I always had someone to reach out to. The professors in the health services administration program do a great job of making sure 亚洲自慰视频s feel supported and connected, and I ended up making some great friendships through the online program, too.鈥
鈥淣o one thinks about the question: If there鈥檚 a cure for cancer, how do they find that? It鈥檚 through the important data that cancer registrars collect.鈥
鈥淢y friend was surprised I felt the need for an MBA with all of my work experience. But I told her, 鈥榃hy not have both? Why not show that I can do the work and have the degree to back it up?鈥欌
鈥淏eing full-time can feel like a lot to keep up with, but I was able to do two classes each eight weeks and still maintain full-time status. It just makes the workload more manageable.鈥
鈥淏eing organized is key in this program. Having a set plan of due dates allowed me to complete my assignments on time and even be able to complete some ahead of time.鈥
"I was looking for a flexible program geared toward my goal of becoming an occupational therapist. UL Lafayette had a kinesiology program that was online and accepted all of my credits. That was a huge plus 鈥 I didn鈥檛 have to start from scratch.鈥
鈥淭hroughout the program, I had a lot of 鈥榓ha鈥 moments. There were times when we鈥檇 cover a concept and I鈥檇 be like, 鈥榃ait, they talked about this on our last earnings call.鈥欌
鈥淭he M.Ed. program gave me confidence and made me feel like I have a voice. Now, whenever there鈥檚 a new law passed or a new policy in my district, I have the tools to look it up for myself and interpret it and be an advocate for myself and other teachers.鈥
