Ryan oversees Chapter 31 VR&E benefits, supervises the office's ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ workers, and plans and implements events. He is also a Certifying Official for VA. Additionally, Ryan serves as the staff advisor for the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Veteran Organization (SVO). Ryan previously worked in the UL Lafayette Admissions & Recruitment Office, primarily serving non-traditional ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs, including veterans. He now brings that customer service and admissions process knowledge to our new and transferring veteran and military-connected ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs.

Ryan is a 10-year veteran of the US Army/LA National Guard serving as both a 19D Cavalry Scout and later as a Counterintelligence Agent. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and is certified to teach High School Social Studies. He also serves as Head Coach of the ten-time National Champion, Ragin’ Cajun Water Ski Team. Ryan is a board member of the Veterans Action Coalition of Southwest ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ and an advisor for the Acadiana Veterans Alliance.
