Acadiana Red And White Day – Celebrating Acadiana United

On June 10, legislators and visitors to the state Capitol in Baton Rouge will be seeing red. ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette administrators along with officials from Lafayette and surrounding parishes will be at the Capitol for the annual Acadiana Red and White Day.

The event is a collaborative effort between the university, city and parish governments, Acadiana area chambers of commerce, economic development councils, convention and visitors bureaus, South ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Community College, ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Technical College and ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Immersive Technologies Enterprise.

The group is scheduled to attend legislative committee meetings in the morning and then have lunch in the Member's Louge at the Capitol. After a photo on the Capitol steps, the group will be recognized in the House chamber following by recognition in the Senate chamber.
