The ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette Department of Performing Arts announces its 2009 Theatre and Dance Departmental Interview/Auditions for Fall 2009 admittance.
Admission is a two-part process. To be considered for admission as a Theatre or Dance major, ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs must apply to the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ as well as complete an Interview/Audition.
For Theatre ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs, auditions will be held at 1 p.m. on March 28. ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs must provide a resume and headshot (if available) and prepare a 30-60 second monologue. For technical theatre, ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs should provide a resume along with work examples.
For dance ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs, auditions will be held at 1 p.m. on April 4. ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs should provide a resume and headshot (if available). ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs will work through a ballet barre followed by modern dance center floor and large movement across the floor.
