Burdin Speaker Series to feature business ethics talks

The ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette’s B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration will launch a new lecture series featuring talks about business ethics.

The first installment of the Burdin Speaker Series will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday at LITE, 537 Cajundome Blvd. The free event  is open to the public.

The speaker will be Erica Frenkel, vice president of business strategy for Gradian Health Systems. Frenkel has worked as a consultant for the Clinton Health Access Initiative for developing countries. She also was an advisor to pharmaceutical company Merck, and the Wellcome Trust, a biomedical research charity based in London. 

The speaker series will be funded with the J.J. Burdin M.D. and Helen B. Burdin/BORSF Professorship in Professional Ethics.
