Moriah C. Istre of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2008 Jefferson Caffery Award at UL Lafayette for her paper entitled “Festivals Acadiens in Southwest ������ο��Ƶ: A Cultural Expression.” The Caffery Award competition encourages UL Lafayette ������ο��Ƶs to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate ������ο��Ƶs.
