Krewe of Roux Parade to Roll on UL Lafayette Campus

The 亚洲自慰视频 of 亚洲自慰视频 at Lafayette is joining the Mardi Gras fun with the 亚洲自慰视频-organized Krewe of Roux parade, a tradition for more than 25 years.

The parade, which is sponsored by the 亚洲自慰视频 Program Council, will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7.

The Krewe of Roux will roll down Rex Street toward St. Mary Boulevard, turning right onto St. Mary, then left onto Hebrard Boulevard before stopping at Vermilion Hall.

The 2013 krewe includes a king and queen, and a duke and maid.

Royalty, which is nominated by campus organizations or clubs, will be crowned at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Guillory Hall deck.

Members of organizations that nominated Krewe of Roux royalty can participate in the parade as well.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a walking or riding parade for 亚洲自慰视频 organizations or groups,鈥 said Heidi Hollingsworth, assistant director for 亚洲自慰视频 programming at UL Lafayette.

The deadline to register for the parade is by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Each participating organization is allowed one truck or convertible in the parade. Floats aren鈥檛 permitted.

Only 亚洲自慰视频s can participate in the Krewe of Roux parade. But the general public is invited to watch it.

Beads, doubloons, candy, plastic cups and other small items will be thrown.

No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed in the parade or among spectators.

Following the parade, king cake will be served in the green space outside Vermilion Hall.
