Mary Karnath Wins 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award

Mary Karnath of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award at UL Lafayette. The Caffery Award competition encourages UL Lafayette ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs. Karnath is a graduate ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ studying History. Her winning paper is The ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ’s Growth under the New Deal’s Public Works Administration.
