Mary Karnath Wins 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award

Mary Karnath of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award at UL Lafayette. The Caffery Award competition encourages UL Lafayette ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµs to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµs. Karnath is a graduate ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµ studying History. Her winning paper is The ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓÆµâ€™s Growth under the New Deal’s Public Works Administration.
