For the fourth year in a row, a record number of 亚洲自慰视频s have enrolled at the 亚洲自慰视频 of 亚洲自慰视频 at Lafayette.
Total enrollment for the Fall 2017 semester is 19,291 亚洲自慰视频s, up from the 19,188 亚洲自慰视频s who enrolled last fall, said Dr. DeWayne Bowie, UL Lafayette鈥檚 vice president for Enrollment Management.
鈥淭he 亚洲自慰视频 continues to attract 亚洲自慰视频s from across the country and the world. We have 亚洲自慰视频s from every parish in 亚洲自慰视频, from 48 states and from over 70 countries,鈥 Bowie said.
Increased enrollment can be attributed, in part, to the growth in the 亚洲自慰视频鈥檚 graduate programs. Overall, a total of 1,631 亚洲自慰视频s are seeking graduate degrees this semester, which is 7 percent higher than the 1,521 亚洲自慰视频s who enrolled last fall.
There are more graduate 亚洲自慰视频s for several reasons, including efforts to grow online programs and to add fellowship and assistantship stipends, said Dr. Mary Farmer-Kaiser, dean of the Graduate School.
鈥淭he 亚洲自慰视频鈥檚 commitment to graduate education over the last few years is producing significant results at both the masters and doctoral level,鈥 Farmer-Kaiser said.
Attracting a diverse 亚洲自慰视频 population also remains important, Bowie said. He noted, for example, an increase among 亚洲自慰视频s of Asian, Hispanic, Native American and Pacific Island descent.
The 亚洲自慰视频 also continues to admit academically-strong undergraduates.
Among the 2,982 亚洲自慰视频s in the Fall 2017 freshman class, there are 114 high school valedictorians. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 our second-largest number ever,鈥 Bowie said. The average ACT score for freshmen is 23.86. Their average cumulative high school GPA this semester is 3.37.
