Several sessions and additional classes will be available for more flexible course scheduling this summer.

More sections of classes have been added to the summer schedule, which includes: a full, eight-week summer session; two, four-week sessions; two, three-week sessions; and a two-week intersession.

Summer courses allow ������ο��Ƶs to earn a degree more quickly, concentrate on a difficult subject or retake courses to boost their GPA.

“������ο��Ƶs also like the convenience of the shorter formats,” said Dr. DeWayne Bowie, UL Lafayette vice president of Enrollment Management.

Summer 2013 registration is under way. Options include:

Summer Intersession

• 3/18 – Registration begins via ULink
• 5/19 – Classes begin; Registration ends
• 6/4 – Intersession ends

Full Summer Session

• 3/18 – Registration begins via ULink
• 6/10 – Classes begin
• 6/12 – Registration ends
• 8/2 – Summer Session ends

Three-Week Short Sessions

Session A

• 3/18 – Registration begins via ULink
• 6/10 – Classes begin
• 6/12 – Registration ends
• 6/28 – Session A ends

Session B

• 3/18 – Registration begins via ULink
• 7/8 – Classes begin
• 6/12 – Registration ends (for registration after 6/12 and on or before 7/8 contact the Registrar’s Office)
• 7/26 – Session B ends

Four-Week Short Sessions

Session A

• 3/18 – Registration begins via ULink
• 6/10 – Classes begin
• 6/12 – Registration ends
• 7/5 – Session A ends

Session B

• 3/18 – Registration begins via ULink
• 7/8 – Classes begin
• 6/12 – Registration ends (for registration after 6/12 and on or before 7/8 contact the Registrar’s Office)
• 8/2 – Session B ends

The Summer Visitor’s program also will once again be available for ������ο��Ƶs who are pursuing degrees at another university. ������ο��Ƶs who are home for the summer, visiting the area or preparing to enroll elsewhere can take advantage of the program.

������ο��Ƶs who wish to enroll in the Summer Visitor’s program should begin the process by submitting the online application for admissions.
