UL Lafayette Officials Monitor Tropical Storm Isaac

The ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Isaac.  The National Hurricane Center predicts Issac will move into the Gulf of Mexico and become a hurricane tonight or Monday.

The ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ will open on Monday, Aug. 27, on its regular schedule. No classes have been cancelled.

Should weather conditions warrant cancellations or closures, information will be provided via the 24-hour hotline at (337) 482-2222, the Emergency Notification System, the university’s website at louisiana.edu, and its official Facebook page at facebook.com/officialullafayette.

The ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ will issue the next update on Monday, Aug. 27, by noon.
