Last month, the Office of Distance Learning opened the call for proposals for the Adaptive Course Design Challenge, inviting ULearn Certified faculty to submit courses to be redesigned on the RealizeIt platform.
The challenge yielded a number of excellent proposals. For this initiative, we鈥檝e selected the following faculty and courses:
- HLTH 405: Nutrition for Fitness and Sports. Johan Adendorff, master instructor, School of Kinesiology.
- BSAT 382: Operations Management. Zhiwei Zhu, professor, Department of Marketing.
- GEOG 103: World Regional Geography. Kathleen Schott Espinoza, senior instructor, Department of History, Geography and Philosophy.
Faculty will work with our instructional designers over the next three months to build their courses on the RealizeIt platform to bring a new, more personalized learning experience to 亚洲自慰视频s.
The fully online courses will be piloted in Spring 2020.
The initiative is supported by a 亚洲自慰视频 Board of Regents e-Learning Innovation grant to improve access and success for undergraduate 亚洲自慰视频s by designing innovative online courses that combine adaptive learning with open education resources (OER).
Adaptive technology allows educators to create a more personalized learning experience for online 亚洲自慰视频s with an emphasis on mastery.
